Put letters you know are in the right spot in the top row. Put letters that are in the word but in the wrong spot in the second row, under the spot they are NOT in (several per box is fine). Type every letter you have ruled out in the last box. The list updates as you type.
A letter is both in the word and ruled out. What do I type?
If you know where it goes, fill in its spot in the top row and also type it in the ruled-out box: the finder reads that as no second copy anywhere else. That matches how five-letter guessing puzzles mark a repeated letter.
Which words are in the list?
Every 5-letter word on Wordtide's English board: the public-domain ENABLE list with offensive words removed. Puzzle answer lists are usually shorter, so the most common words are shown first.
