What to send here

  • Reports and complaints: a display name, a word on the board or a crew, duel or invite link that you think is illegal, harmful to children or against our terms (“Report a name, word or link”: say what it is, where you saw it and why), or a complaint or appeal about a decision we made (“Complaint or appeal about a decision”). How we handle them is in the terms.
  • Privacy and your data: ask for a copy of your player’s data, a correction or deletion (GDPR access and erasure requests, and the same rights elsewhere). Choose “Privacy or my data” and, on the device that plays, tick “Add my player code” so we can find the player (or include your display name). To delete a player straight away, use “Delete my player” in the game’s Settings.
  • Bugs and barriers: what you were doing, the device and browser, and any assistive technology you use.
  • Press, partnerships and schools: interviews, review access, portals and classroom use.
  • Parents: anything about Little Tide, kid profiles or a child’s data.

What happens to your message

Messages are read by the Wordtide team at APIDLY LTD (trading as Wordtide), a private limited company registered in England and Wales (company no. 17042735), registered office 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, IP28 7DE, United Kingdom, and kept for 90 days, then deleted. Messages with the “Parents” topic, which may come from or be about a child, are deleted after 30 days, once we have had time to reply. We store the topic, your message, only if you give one your reply address, and only if you tick “Add my player code” your player ID (deleted with your player). We do not store your IP address with it; a one-way code derived from it limits how many messages one connection can send per day. Please do not include passwords or recovery codes.
